Literally about “Sea Stars”

From Wikipedia – Starfish:

Starfish or sea stars are any echinoderms belonging to the class Asteroidea. The names sea star and starfish are also (incorrectly) used for the closely related brittle stars, which make up the class Ophiuroidea.

Ivan Chew - ProfileFound this group in Flickr for photos of Starfishes. But frankly, some of the pictures are a bit of a turn off. Fat lumpy starfishes.

Still, not all make me want to lose my lunch.

Here are some nice ones I found from searching Flickr. They could inspire some songs.

I like how the light reflects on the water. As if white light is emanating from the starfishes.

This reminded me of Patrick the Starfish, from SpongeBob Squarepants. It looks like a plump happy star.

Hmm… as if they were Starfishes that have evolved to become interstellar travelers.

I love this. It’s so… poetic somehow, even without any words.

Sweet (but a bit sad too… ‘cos the stars look as if they’re dried out before they could bloom):
